Part 1. Why This List is Beyond Exciting and Useful

I think you are going to be extremely shocked just how exciting and useful this page is and how much work went into putting it together. I am about to share with you secrets that I don’t think you are necessarily going to hear anywhere else, that took me 11 or 12 years trying to devour libraries to discover. These secrets will help you to understand how awe-inspiringly awesome this list is and what it can accomplish.

I have tried to gain as much expert knowledge as I could in reality including the concrete evidence that the experts have or don’t have for over ten years by going through almost every shelf of 23 libraries with probably over tens of thousands of internet favorites of pages and much much more. I have realized a great secret that is stunning, and here it is:

I have noticed that outside of textbooks and scholarly journals almost no books in the private sector help you reach to extremely expert knowledge but seem to almost all stop in intermediate or low intermediate knowledge without ever seemingly giving you the evidence behind many claims that isn’t a non sequitur and this includes it seems to me in regards to “consensus claims” as well (I will talk about scholarly journals in a moment about how astronomically opaque, inefficient in communication, disorganized, unmarketed, inaccessible, unaffordable, and basically secret they are). It seems to me that informing people into advanced levels which would be obviously helpful to do for those pure at heart, is not being done as efficiently as possible really at all in many cases but rather it almost seems like extremely world class expert intelligence is something that is guarded that you aren’t supposed to collect on your own.

Here is where this list comes in: I have noticed that it seems there is a great disconnect in knowledge. It appears that textbooks help lift you up into advanced knowledge but they seem unnecessarily made boring and not allowing in free inquiry and excitement. They also seem to possibly not communicate ideas with open mindedness and presentation of evidence behind its truth claims. Books outside of textbooks appear to not give you extremely advanced knowledge, but they do have open mindedness in many cases and do have excitement and permit free inquiry that seems lacking in textbooks. This means that it appears for whatever reason that textbooks are being kept the only road to advanced knowledge that is simply not available elsewhere, but in order to get it you have to submit to the often boring, intolerance to free inquiry, not giving evidence, and possible bias inflicting that seems present in some textbooks (and don’t think you can dismiss my last point because it seems implausible in regards to evil if you can’t show how evil is plausible and upon study the truth of it seems implausible, because then you would deny the truth of it as falsehood if I gave it to you – I have created a new logical fallacy to label this that I call the fallacy of universal implausibility that I will have explained more at drewwhiteddc.com).

Also it seems to me that I simply cannot find sufficient evidence in my time in libraries that justifies many truth claims including truth claims that we are told have a consensus. I know that I have never seen a living triceratops. I know that I have never seen a mermaid jump out of the ocean. Likewise, I know to my best ability that I literally cannot find the concrete evidence behind many truth claims even those that we are told have a consensus when I have been specifically looking for this evidence for over a decade living in libraries. I have recently thought a thought that I still believe in, “Either this evidence exists in scholarly journals it seems, or it doesn’t seem to exist at all.”

Scholarly journals seem very poorly communicated to regular people and seem so disorganized and inaccessible (similar to the disconnect that I listed from textbooks and private sector books) that it almost seems that the nature of these things would have to be the result of some form of malice, because they seem too glaring and would seem to require too much astronomical ignorance to be otherwise. Therefore if you want to make a difference in this world morally for the better it seems to me textbooks and scholarly journals are the place to attack and you shouldn’t be deterred by their seeming boring nature or how they seem irrelevant sometimes or trumpeting truth claims without ever giving you in many cases the evidence behind these claims which 15 year old me found unacceptable to the highest as I still do. I have I think shocking philosophical ideas and implications that I think this leads to but I suppose I will talk about them in a little bit or link to them later in a video I make for that purpose so this is not too long.

Part 2. What This List is and What Went into Making it

Therefore, I put in over a year of work for this below list that I couldn’t find in my own searching so I made it. It has over 1,000 different majors in a list that I created from comparing other lists. I have linked every major to a page that gives all the classes the major takes and in many cases lets you open the syllabus of the courses to see the textbooks they use and the professor’s notes (and hilariously sometimes basically the whole course). Lastly, thanks to a website I newly learned of called perlego.com (which allows you for $18 a month to read and access over 700,000 textbooks and non-fiction titles), you could use this list together with perlego to read through entire college curricula including masters and PHD level and including medical school and law school with simply $18 a month and your time. If you are able to read through this quickly with speed reading techniques like those in the book Breakthrough Rapid Reading by Peter Kump, then you may be able to pull these off in weeks. This would be able to undo the disconnect of knowledge I mentioned earlier in this page, and return advanced knowledge to that which is most full of free inquiry, transparency, good marketing, excitement, and so on.

Part 3. Some of the Links are Broken but Will Be Fixed Soon

Some of these links are a little old and maybe be broken. I am working at replacing the old links, but maintaining a list of 1,000 links that change is not the easiest thing and I intend on fixing them soon but for now I think the links that do function together with this list together form a great resource as it is. For instance if you wanted the curriculum for ceramic engineering I would search: Ceramic Engineering Curriculum AND site:edu. This will only bring up college or .edu sites which help to make your results most applicable. Have fun!!!
